Ordering Online? Target's Free-Shipping Minimum Is Lower Than Amazon's

Target wants your business bad, so bad that the big box retailer is undercutting Amazon on shipping prices. Now, you can get free shipping on Target.com on all online orders of $25 or more . Your goods will arrive in three to five business days, for free.

That deal undercuts Amazon's free shipping by $10 (with a same 3-5 day time frame that can vary for non-Amazon sellers). At Walmart, you have to order $50 or more. However, that's still not quite as good as Amazon Prime—which is the winner of them all. If you're willing to shell out $100 upfront for the membership. Amazon Prime offers free two-day shipping, and Amazon is open 24 hours a day. However, Target offers free in store pick up at any time, an option that's not quite available through Amazon. The store also promises that 80 percent of its orders are filled within an hour. But then you have to wait three to five days unless you want to go to the store.

All that said, it looks like everybody wins when big box stores battling it out with Amazon. Or at the very least, you do. [Target via Slashgear]
